Find the metal. Prove the grade.
Ferrovane Prospecting Guild builds its own survey kit and works claims across the Belt, Mars, Phobos and the moons of Jupiter. Ask for a deposit, a tool or a buyer in your own words.
We fly Halcyon hulls: Leviathan Ore Haulers, Valkyrie Survey Corvettes, Nimbus Gas Skimmers, Basilisk Salvage Tugs and Wren Microlifters.
What we prospect for
Each tile searches the guild’s deposits, field reports and buyers for that metal.
Around the guild
-
Equipment
Drones, drills, assay lances and field refineries we design and build ourselves.
-
Field reports
Survey notes from the claims, written by the crews who worked them.
-
Clients & refineries
The refiners and metal buyers who take our ore, and the kit they lease.
-
Prospectors & crew
Geologists, assayers, drill crews and pilots, from Ceres to Callisto.
-
Auctions & field days
Claims auctions, assay workshops and field days out on the regolith.
-
Deposits & surveys
Known deposits, survey datasets and the open tools behind them.
Corehound Deep Core Drill
The guild's 34-metre deep-core rig: a fission-powered drill that pulls continuous core from 2.4 km down and steers up to 2 km sideways to prove a deposit before anyone mines it.
Cryo Ice-Core Sampler
A nine-metre melt-and-core sampler that pulls pristine ice cores from 900 m down on Europa, Callisto and Ganymede to measure helium-3, lithium and trapped volatiles.
Gravwell Gradiometer Array
A 22-metre gravity gradiometer mounted on a Valkyrie Survey Corvette that maps hidden dense metal bodies up to 12 km beneath the surface across a 400 km swath.
Ironmonger Field Refinery
A 48-metre mobile refinery with an 8 MW reactor that turns raw ore into high-grade metal concentrate at the claim, 120 tonnes per batch, so haulers only move what is worth moving.
Lodeseeker Prospector Rover
A six-metre, nuclear-powered prospecting rover with ground-penetrating radar, a sample arm and an 850 km traverse range, built to walk claims on Mars, Phobos and the big icy moons.
Pickaxe Survey Drone
A two-metre flying magnetometer that sweeps a 120 km survey line in a single sortie and flags buried iron-nickel and platinum-group targets before anyone commits a drill.
Sieve Ore-Sorting Rig
A 26-metre sensor-based sorting line that scans every rock with X-rays and LIBS and air-jets the waste away, upgrading 40 tonnes of run-of-mine ore every hour.
Spectra Assay Lance
A one-metre handheld laser-induced breakdown spectrometer that reads the grade of a rock in grams per tonne from 12 metres away, in about four seconds.
Swarm Prospecting Beacons
A prototype pack of 64 palm-sized sensor beacons that scatter across a body, network themselves and map magnetics, temperature and volatile outgassing over a 300 km area for months.
Tether Anchor Kit
A four-metre anchoring kit that harpoons up to 18 m into a small asteroid and holds 3,200 kg on a 300 m tether, so crews, drills and refineries stay put on rocks with almost no gravity.
