Ceres Claims Auction, Fourth Quarter 2187

Expo Hosted by HSW Guildhall Auction Floor, Occator

Four times a year the Guild puts its best unstaked finds up for bidding, and this quarter's catalogue is the strongest in years. Eighteen lots go under the hammer over two days, headlined by lot 7, the Hollow Sister PGM Rubble Pile grading 38 g/t platinum, and lot 12, the Galileo Regio Rare Earths block on Ganymede.

Auction Director Inês Carvalho-Roy opens with a market briefing on iridium, rhodium and dysprosium prices and what they mean for reserve bids. Claims Registrar Nadia El-Amin then explains how a winning bid becomes a registered claim, from Claimstake Survey Marker placement to the 30-day challenge window. Guildmaster Halvard Renko closes the first day.

Bidding is open to Guild members and to accredited buyers who lodge a 2 Mc deposit. Remote bidders from Luna, Mars and the Jovian moons can join through relay terminals, with a 40-minute light-lag allowance built into each lot.
