Inês Carvalho-Roy
Inês Carvalho-Roy runs the quarterly Ceres Claims Auction and the guild's liaison office on Earth, in Europe. As Ferrovane's mineral economist she values every lot before it goes under the hammer, weighing assay grades, tonnage estimates and the cost of getting metal to market.
In 2186 her auctions cleared 112 claims for a combined 1,340 million credits, a guild record. She publishes a monthly price outlook covering iridium, rhodium, neodymium, dysprosium and helium-3 that buyers from Luna to Ganymede read closely. Carvalho-Roy spends about half the year travelling between Earth, Luna and Ceres to meet bidders and catalyst-metal buyers in person.
