ClaimGrid Boundary Mapper
ClaimGrid is how the Guild knows who owns what. It listens to the transponder telemetry broadcast by Claimstake Survey Markers and Swarm Prospecting Beacons, turns their positions into claim polygons and checks them against the Claims Office registry.
When a new stake lands inside an existing claim, ClaimGrid raises an overlap alert to both parties and to Claims Registrar Nadia El-Amin's office within minutes. It handles the awkward geometry of spinning, irregular bodies and can project claims onto any shape model. Every auction lot at the Ceres Claims Auction is published as a ClaimGrid layer.
The code is MPL-2.0, so companies can build it into their own tools while sharing changes to ClaimGrid itself. A public read-only map of all registered claims is hosted from the repository.
ClaimGrid also keeps a full history: every stake, transfer and expiry since the Claims Office went digital in 2171. Disputes are settled against that record, and the Guild has not lost a boundary case since. Developers can query the history through an open interface documented in the repository.
