Garonne Catalyst Metals
Garonne Catalyst Metals has made industrial catalysts in Europe since 2149, supplying chemical plants, fuel refineries and atmosphere processors on Earth and Luna. Its products depend on rhodium, platinum and iridium, and for the past two decades a growing share of those metals has come from the Asteroid Belt rather than terrestrial mines.
Garonne is unusual among Ferrovane clients in that it invests directly in exploration. It co-owns one Gravwell Gradiometer Array, priced at 18.9 million credits, which flies on a guild Valkyrie Survey Corvette under a shared-results agreement. It also equips its own buyers with twelve Spectra Assay Lances so they can check concentrate on arrival.
The company has a standing purchase agreement for rhodium from the Kerwan Rhodium Vein on Ceres and was the first catalyst buyer to sign for iridium from the Cinder Tor lode on Vesta. Auction Director Inês Carvalho-Roy, who works from the guild's European liaison office, handles the relationship, and Gravimetry Data Scientist Liang Qiao shares new gravity results with Garonne's geologists.
