Rift Valley Rare Earth Conference

Conference HSW speaking Rift Valley Rare Earth Cooperative Assembly Hall

The Rift Valley Rare Earth Cooperative hosts this conference for rare-earth buyers and geologists on Earth. Two Guild geophysicists explain how off-world deposits are located.

Teodor Vasquez-Lin presents the Stickney Rim Neodymium Field on Phobos, found by Lodeseeker Prospector Rover traverses. Sunniva Okafor presents the seismic work behind the Galileo Regio deposit on Ganymede and the Tharsis dykes.

Registration through the Cooperative.

The Guild's talks will show how off-world deposits are surveyed with magnetometry, gravimetry, seismic and LIBS spectroscopy before anyone commits to drilling, and how grades in grams per tonne are certified. The Cooperative leases a Gravwell Gradiometer Array and three Lodeseeker Prospector Rovers from the Guild for its own Martian surveys, and its team will present early results. The conference includes a session for students considering careers in off-world prospecting.
