Equipment spotlight: Ironmonger Field Refinery

The Ironmonger Field Refinery is a Mobile field refinery designed and built by the Ferrovane Prospecting Guild. It has been helping crews find iridium, platinum-group metals and rare earths since May 2184.

A standard deployment uses 14 crew, with 4 trained operators at the controls. It draws its power from a 8 MW fission core.

Members can lease or buy units through the Guild. Training is available at the Rheasilvia Toolworks on Vesta.
