Paulo Teixeira

Paulo Teixeira hunts fusion fuel. Based at Valhalla Station on Callisto, he prospects for helium-3 in the moon's frozen regolith and, when the opportunity arises, in Jupiter's upper atmosphere aboard one of the guild's two Nimbus Gas Skimmers.

His 2186 survey of the Valhalla cold traps, carried out with a Cryo Ice-Core Sampler and a cloud of Swarm Prospecting Beacons, measured helium-3 concentrations of 18 parts per billion, high enough for the Jovian Helium-3 Consortium to fund a pilot extraction plant. Teixeira is outspoken about the need to stake outer-moon claims before rival outfits arrive, and he usually brings a bag of Callisto regolith to auctions so bidders can see what 18 ppb looks like.
