Kofi Mensah-Hart
Kofi Mensah-Hart runs the rover teams at the guild's Tharsis camp on Mars. His crews drive the Lodeseeker Prospector Rover on traverses of up to 850 kilometres, mapping the top 30 metres of ground with radar and collecting samples every few hundred metres.
He led the 2183 traverse that first spotted the carbonatite outcrops now known as the Tharsis Dysprosium Dykes, a find that later justified a full seismic campaign. Mensah-Hart trained as a mechanic and still does his own repairs on the rover's americium-241 power unit. When a rover has to cross to Phobos, he books a Wren Microlifter and rides along in the cargo bay, which he says is the only part of the job he does not enjoy.
