Rukmini Sato

Magnetometry Lead Survey Division

Rukmini Sato coordinates the guild's magnetic surveys across the inner and middle Belt. Her crews flew the 1,840-body campaign behind the Belt Aeromagnetic Grid 2186, launching Pickaxe Survey Drones in relays from Valkyrie Survey Corvettes and sweeping each rock along tightly spaced flight lines.

Sato is the original author of the MagFuse Inversion Engine, the open-source code that turns raw total-field readings into 3D susceptibility models and drill-target rankings. She is a firm believer in cheap, numerous sensors: a single Pickaxe costs 0.85 million credits, so she would rather fly a dozen and lose one than risk a corvette in close orbit. When not in the field she lives aboard a converted habitat module that drifts between survey blocks.
